Yes. They are completely encased in a fire retardant “sock” comprised of a proprietary blend of fibers, each chosen for its balance of comfort and flammability performance. The barrier works by interrupting the combustion process in the event of a fire and meets all standard safety requirements - no chemicals used or required.

Most traditional frames work fine with a Molecule mattress as long as the foundation you are using with the frame provides adequate support.

Yes, you can use your Molecule mattress on an adjustable base - as long as the base is solid and flat and compatible with foam mattresses.

Your mattress will be ready within a few minutes after you remove the inner plastic bag, but it may take between 24-72 hours for it to fully expand.

No. In fact, our proprietary manufacturing process scrubs air through carbon filters to eliminate off-gassing. It’s also eco-friendly and virtually emissions-free. Our non-toxic, water-based glue may sometimes emit a slight scent which will dissipate within 24 hours.

It’s optional, but we recommend it if you are concerned about stains/damage which can void your warranty. Please note that standard mattress covers or pads may affect airflow.

As needed, feel free to rotate the mattress to promote even wear. Do not flip it/turn upside down.

Spot clean with a damp cloth or sponge. Avoid bleach or other harsh agents which can cause stains or damage that could void your warranty. TENCEL™ is a fabric made from the pulp of Eucalyptus trees. It is very breathable and does not trap heat. One of its main properties is its ability to wick away moisture to keep you dry at night.

Sateen fabric is made using a satin weave, but using spun yarn instead of filament. This creates a softer feel to the cover to maximize comfort.

Percale is a tightly woven fabric that is very breathable. It feels crisp and smooth and does not feel as silky as Sateen.

Bed sheets must be treated with chemicals to be cleaned and dyed upon manufacturing. The cotton may be grown organically, but by the time the sheets reach you they must be treated in one way or another. However, our sheets are sustainable and the factory processes are all Oeko-Tex Certified.

You can expect very little shrinking - approximately 1-2% - this is because we want the sheets to still fit perfectly after the first wash. From there, your sheets should fit perfectly after every wash.

To prolong the life of your sheet system, Molecule recommends washing separately from other laundry. Gentle cycle in cold water, and tumble dry on low-heat setting. Do not over-dry. Remove from dryer, smooth, and fold. TENCEL™ helps keep sheets wrinkle-free.

Be sure to always wash TENCEL® blend fabrics in cold water. Do not use bleach. Do not use fabric softener sheets when drying. TENCEL® blend fabrics tend to wrinkle less than cotton. If desired use an iron at a medium heat setting. Do not dry-clean.

We recommend washing your sheets every 7 - 10 days (more often if you are very active).  If you want that "fresh feeling" to last, invest in some extra pillowcases so you can enjoy a clean pillowcase every few days.

While the sheets go perfectly with our mattress, the Molecule sheets were made to create a favorable environment for deep sleep on any mattress.

Bed sheets need a standard finish in order to bring you that perfect, soft feel. Ouer sheet are made with in mind with those who have sensitive skin or allergies.

All chemicals & dyes used for our sheets and duvet covers meet the OEKO-TEX standards for being safe and earth friendly. These chemicals are used to sanitize our textiles and make them soft to the touch, as this is an industry standard. Rest assured, your duvet cover is perfect for those with sensitive skin or allergies.
