MOLECULE Sheets

Advanced Construction & Materials for the Coolest Sleep Possible

Keep Your Cool

No matter what fabric feel you prefer, MOLECULE sheets are designed with advanced TENCEL™ materials that keep you dry and cool, reduce bacterial growth, and help you discover healthier sleep.

Percale Vs Sateen

While both MOLECULE fabrics are equally comforting and cooling made with the finest long-staple cotton and innovative TENCEL, Percale and Sateen Sheets have key differences. One fabric is not better than the other - it's really a matter of personal preference. Check out the differences to see what's right for you.

The TENCEL™️ Advantage

TENCEL™️ Lyocell is an advanced fiber made from a sustainably sourced wood pulp from Eucalyptus and other trees. We choose to incorporate this textile innovation into our sheets for its many comfort and wellness features.

Temperature regulating

The hydrophilic (water absorbing) nature of TENCEL™️ Lyocell means that its fibers absorb moisture more efficiently than cotton. This supports your body’s thermal regulating mechanism, keeping your skin feeling dry and cool all night long.

Unfavorable for Bacterial Growth

The hydrophilic nature of TENCEL™️ fibers absorb moisture more efficiently and thus there is less available moisture formed on the surface for bacteria to grow versus more common fabrics.

Skin-Friendly

TENCEL™️ fibers are naturally soft to the touch and offer long-lasting comfort. Even when viewed under an electron microscope, the fibers exhibit a smooth surface - which translates to exceptional comfort and softness for even the most sensitive skin.

Eco-Friendly

TENCEL™️ Lyocell fibers are derived from sustainable wood sources and harvested from certified and controlled sources. The production process is an environmentally responsible closed-loop process where nearly 100% of the water used is recovered.

Molecule Sheets VS Traditional Cotton

2x the air permeability and 17% better water vapor permeability for cooler, more restorative sleep throughout the night.

Higher Abrasion Resistance

Less Shrinkage and Superior Stability When Washed

Why Thread Count Doesn't Matter

A higher number does not equate to a better product. What actually matters is better, more restorative sleep.

While a high thread count might sound nice, more threads can make sheets less breathable. Some manufacturers even use thinner threads to increase their thread count number, which can weaken the fabric’s durability and breathability without any added benefit.

Our philosophy is to ignore the marketing hype and focus on leveraging science and fabric technology to make the best product available for the coolest sleep. As a result, our textile experts purposely designed our sheets with a unique blend of cotton and TENCEL™️ Lyocell in a 300 thread count that results in one of the softest and most breathable fabrics available, without sacrificing any durability.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What material are your sheets made of?

Our sheets are made with a unique blend of 48% TENCEL and 52% cotton, woven together to create a sheet that is unparalleled in softness and breathability.

  • What is TENCEL™?

TENCEL™ is a fabric made from the pulp of Eucalyptus trees. It is very breathable and does not trap heat. One of its main properties is its ability to wick away moisture to keep you dry at night.

  • What is Sateen?

Sateen fabric is made using a satin weave, but using spun yarn instead of filament. This creates a softer feel to the sheets to maximize comfort.

  • What is Percale?

Percale is a tightly woven fabric that is very breathable. It feels crisp and smooth and does not feel as silky as Sateen.

  • What Certifications do Molecule Sheets have?

Our sheets are OEKO-TEX® 100 certified, so you can rest easy. For more information about OEKO-TEX® standards, click here.

  • Are Molecule Sheets organic?

Bed sheets must be treated with chemicals to be cleaned and dyed upon manufacturing. The cotton may be grown organically, but by the time the sheets reach you they must be treated in one way or another. However, our sheets are sustainable and the factory processes are all OEKO-TEX® Certified.

  • Do Molecule sheets shrink?

You can expect very little shrinking - approximately 1-2%. This is because we want the sheets to still fit perfectly after the first wash. From there, your sheets should fit perfectly after every wash.

  • How do I care for my sheets?

To prolong the life of your sheet system, Molecule recommends washing separately from other laundry. Gentle cycle in cold water, and tumble dry on low-heat setting. Do not over-dry. Remove from dryer, smooth, and fold. Tencel™ helps keep sheets wrinkle-free.

  • Will your sheets only work on a Molecule mattress?

While the sheets go perfectly with our mattress, the Molecule sheets were made to create a favorable environment for deep sleep on any mattress.

  • What finishes are used on your sheets?

Bed sheets need a standard finish in order to bring you that perfect, soft feel. Sheets that are not treated are unsanitary and rough. We use the lightest amount of finish on our sheets to provide you the perfect, clean bed sheet. In truth, all sheets or textile processing has chemicals on them. All chemicals & dyes used for our sheets meet the OEKO-TEX® 100 standards for being safe and earth friendly. These chemicals are used to sanitize our sheets and make them soft to the touch, as this is an industry standard. Rest assured, your sheets are perfect for those with sensitive skin or allergies.

  • Where are your sheets made?

Our sheets are made in Bahrain using the finest cotton and TENCEL™. Click here to read more about TENCEL™

  • How deep are the fitted sheets?

Our sheet pockets are 15" deep. We are currently looking into making deeper pockets. With your permission we would like to email you when they are available!
